I am currently on probation in Oregon. My term is almost up. I am behind on my fees. I read before a statute that says they cannot extend my probation if I am behind on fees, but they are telling me that they can and probably will.

Does anyone know the statute I am referring too? Any personal knowledge?

Also, is there any court relief due to hardship after the fees have accumulated?

Thanks to all for your help.

I don't know about the statute, but it is possible that the statute has changed since you last read it. Ask your p.o. or former defense attorney what the possibilities are; chances are they are the best source for information.
