I was financially broke for a short while and I was unable to pay my auto insurance. My license got suspended. I'm currently working at a good job. When I get the car insured will I be able to get my license back? I'd prefer to pay a fine. I need the car to get to work. In general what can happen here?. I'm in New York State. e-mail is [email protected]

I reside in California, but I beleive the law
is the same. Once you can show proof of
insurance, the suspension will be lifted.
You will need either a certificate of
insurance or the insurance card that the
carrier provides.
