i was accused of a crime last jan. and went to court in april. the judge imposed punishment without finding and said that if i do what i'm supposed to he will dismiss the charge in a year. will my record be clean again or will this still be on it even as a dismissed charge?

I would have to know the state and exactly what the judge did. It sounds like he gave you an automatic conditional discharge. But each state's law is different and I don't know what state you are in -- I suggest you ask a lawyer in your state -- and assume you had one the forst time around. You could ask the court clerk also.
