Is a search warrant legal if?

Is a search warrant legal if the informant was lieing? the informant is an escort who does drugs told the cops that I dealt drugs and had lots of drugs in my house, when actually they were another persons' who lived in the house? And then after the search the informant called me up and said "Yes! I did set you up!" When they came with the search warrant they pulled up in the driveway just after I did. So when I went in the house I showed them where the stuff was because I had found it earlier and did not touch it just left and went shopping. After she told them that I did drugs and sold them they went through my garbage in the front yard and found a crack pipe and a baggie with cocaine residue. They were not mine and they didn't take fingerprints either. But that is how they got the search warrant. They did not take me to jail but wanted me to turn in someone which I did not know anyone, they said if I did the paperwork would be lost. 3 months later they came with a warrant for my arrest and I had no one else liveing there then and there were no drugs in my house or anything to do with them. I have a lawyer but he says because of where they found them we couldn't win the case. What do I do? Take probation? or get another lawyer.
