not being a lawyer, i don't know but, i once heard 'in massachsetts, 'if you sell something 4 for $1., you must sell 1 for $.25; not $.29 or, anything else. i was wondering if there was such a law &, if it's still in effect? thanks.

There is no such law. It is a common retail practice to give a discount on the purchase of mulitple items.
