hello, I am located in NY. My friend and I are trying to open a restaurant but got stumped. We are in the process of getting the restaurant incorporated, but what do we do after this?
What other forms, permits or certificate do we need.
I think we applied for the "c" corporation.
Help! We are nurses and don't know much about the business world.
Thanks:confused:

You can get your business license at the city or county administrative building for your area. Before starting a business, I would recommend you read the FreeAdvice material at http://business-law.freeadvice.com/starting_a_business/ and the IRS material, which contains much more than just tax topics, at http://business-law.freeadvice.com/starting_a_business/. Also your local chamber of commerce has business kits that have about everything you will need available at a low price. Also see starting a business in NY at: http://www.nysegov.com/citguide.cfm?displaymode=noflash&fontsize=100&contrast=lod&superCat=28&cat=201&content=main
