my ex-boss told a bunch of lies about me in front of 15-20 of my peers. I am in the medical field and he stated that I didn't do the things I said I did for my patients. I have written notes verifying my work an most have patient signatures. What can I do? He may jepordize my career and reputation. HELP

you can only make a case for libel or slander if the information is untrue, defamatory, and causes you harm. It sounds like his actions haven't caused you any tangible financial harm yetso you may be in a tough spot. Read the section on libel/slander under personal injury for more information on this topic.
