My cousin passed away last week, being survived by 2 minor children. Also, we found out this week that, although she was separated for many years), she was never legally divorced.

She leaves a house, a car, and some savings, which we thought would go to her children, (one who is disabled), but her "husband" is saying he is entitled to everything, ans wants to leave the children with the relatives.

We considered a split three ways with the husband and children, but the "husband" wants all.

Could you tell me what is the law on this in Texas? Also, where can I get a lawyer that specializes in this area? I am in Fort Worth, Texas.
