my parents invested money in a small company 5 years ago with a written contract that stated that the money would be paid back with interest no later than 3 years from the stated date. in december, it will be 5 years and they haven't received any of it back. the company was also supposed to pay out royalties quarterly and they haven't received those in several years either. is there something that can legally be done to get their money back??
