I work and live in New York City. I have a 401K
and wish to know if the 401K is protected from any
lawsuit action against me? In addition I would like to know if an IRA is also protected from any lawsuit action. I am told it is protected in the 401K only. That is my reason to leave it in the company when I retire instead of rolling it into an IRA. Can anyone confirm this?
