i am from iowa, the collection agency that currently has my student loan is threatening to garnish my disability check. can they do this?? i dont know how long i will be disabled and not able to work, and therefore cannot agree to payment options they have set forth. i barely have enough to get by on. i am also looking for info on the hardship discharge for student loan. thank you
