I had a verbal agreement with a lady I worked with
for a loan of $700.00, she was recently divorced and
needed help, I gave her the money, and she agreed
to repay me , I told her i would need the money back,
We did not set an date when this would be repayed,
She then got back with her ex and I have not seen a
penny of my money, I had also bought gifts that were
expensive for her kids,I had filed a small claims
suit against both her and her ex, but now have changed it
to a cival court, and am going for the money, plus court
and attorney fee's , and also the things i gave her for her children.
In this case I am also going for slander, her and her ex have called me gay, All i want back is my money and the things I bought for them.
Is there any way to prove we had a verbal agreement? She claims i never gave
her any money , and the items were gifts.
Is there anyway I will be able to get my things and money back
from these people?

My response:

As far as the $700.00, probably not.

As far as the gifts are concerned, most definately not.

I think you're sunk because you have the burden of proof, and you have no proof.
