i live in oh and have had two phone calls from a window sales company. i need new windows in my home and this company is big and local. i have asked them twice to come to my house for a free estimate on windows, but they refuse to come to my home, unless my husband will be home to hear their sales pitch. my husband wants me to take care of this on my own. can they refuse to give me an estiamte because my husband is not home?

Yes. They can make their own sales rules, just like you can make your purchase agreement.
