I had my license taken away for 6 months for a "baby DUI" in the state of Virginia, and they told me I could walk for 90 days and then come back to reapply for my license. It wasn't sent to the DMV and they are just holding my license at the courthouse. My question is should I get a lawyer when all I am doing is filing a motion to go in front of the judge to try to get my license back 3 months early? Thanks in advance for any help.
