I am a 50% owner of a consulting company. I would like to terminate the employment of one of my employees since he is giving false information to me and hiding certain transactions. My partner is aware of the issue, but doesn't want to terminate him since the employee is his close relative. I am the president of the company and actively managing the company since it's inception.

What are my options?. Can I terminate the employee without the consent of my partner?. If yes, what are my rights if the partner tries to reinstate them or wants to fight with me legally?.

I need to resolve this quickly and any prompt response is greately appreciated.

Our company is incorporated in Texas as a S-corp
