wisconsin: There are people I owe from Canada, i contacted them in response to a Canadian legal document requesting money be repaid. I wrote back to address terms and present my case. i have not heard from them in 7 years. is there a limit say 7 years in which they have to pursue debt collection. i am wondering if i am protected by law at this point?
