special education timeline ?

i live in massachusetts. please tell me how many days after a special education team meeting review is held that the individualized education plan supposed to be mailed to the parents for their review and signature?

The law on your question is silent. It states that an indivdual education plan must be prepared, but it does not state a timeline for sending it to the parents.

I suggest you follow-up with the district on a daily basis until you have received the plan.

Within 10 days would be a reasonable period of time.

Due process hearings have been won by parents when the school districts have dillydallied or failed to get the proposed IEP to the parents in a timely fashion.
