In California does a minor in the custody of juvenile hall have the right to be allowed to see a dying parent if escorted and supervised by some kind of officer. Were the juvenile's rights violated if the parent dies and they not get a chance to see them before it happend.

Best guess...
NO
I don't think they have any rights to be release, unless ordered by the Ca Youth Authority or Board of Corrections.
In Ca the kids that are locked up are not there because they missed their homework, these are kids that are repeat offenders, murderers, robbers, rapist, etc...
If someone attempted to have them released to visit a dying parent and the request was denied, im sure there was a valid reason for that decision.
Its a sad situation for both the parent and the kid, but really they are both to blame.

Yes, I do have kids, and like I said in my first post this is a SAD situation. Sometimes learning to be responsible for your actions is very a costly lesson.

You asked for legal advice as to "does a minor in the custody of juvenile hall have the right to be allowed to see a dying parent if escorted and supervised by some kind of officer. Were the juvenile's rights violated if the parent dies and they not get a chance to see them before it happend."

You received an answer based on the repliers legal (or real life) opinion.

What difference does it make whether the replier had children or not?? That is NOT an issue.

I understand that?

I understand him having kids has nothing to do with his opinion Mr. I know everyone is responsible for what they do. I guess when your not a cold hearted person it's hard to see reason!

When you play the game of life you have to play by the rules or deal with the consequences. If teaching your kids right from wrong is having a cold heart, they yes, I have a cold heart.
