in north carolina-my son was charged w/dwi in 1990. he was given 6 month sentence suspended for 2 years. during a traffic stop in 2001,they charged him with a probation violation from 1990 because he failed to do 72 hours of community service. he paid all fines and attended rehab. is there not a statue of limitaions if he wasnt chaged within a certain period after he failed to comply with probation conditions? thanks in advance for any info.
