In re Gault, it states that any court proceeding which could result in confinement of a juvenile the juvenile has the right to cross-examine witnesses (I assume this means the juvenile's attorney). Does this include a hearing which decides whether the juvenile remains in custody at a delenquent facility until the trial? I have been told the victim who is a juvenile does not have to come to any hearings. Which is true?

My response:

Do you see that writing in RED, above? Without a State name, we can't even attempt to assist you, if we're even able to assist you at all. Laws are different everywhere.

Give me the entire cite for In Re Gault.

The entire wording in Gault is, "In any court proceeding that could result in confinement, juveniles must be provided the assistance of counsel, proper notice of charges, the right to cross-examine witnesses, and the privledge against self-incrimination.
This is in the state of Alabama
