Embarrassed in Texas

Guest
I was accused of a crime that I didn't commit. When it went in front of the Grand Jury the truth came out and the case was dismissed. I had never been arrested and my record was clean. Now when a background check happens it states the accusation and has (dismissed) beside it. How can my record be cleared after the truth came out and be like it was before this happened. My lawyer charged me $7500 and it never even went to court. I ask him about doing something and he said don't worry about it because it states "dismissed" beside it. What steps should I take?
