My boyfriend is on three years probation for a misdamenor crime. He was also sentenced to one week of community service, a 6 month anger course which he completed, a one year course which he had to attend every week (missed 5 classes excused)but attended for about 4-6 months unsure.
He missed his last court date because we lost the information and the court said we had to come down in person to retrive it which we could not beacuse the one time we went down into that area a week that we could afford was for his class and the court was closed. He was not able to do any of his community service because he had to work between 48-56 hours a week just to be able to afford to pay for the classes and heavy fines recieved. He left the state in a hurry last week causing him to miss another class unexcued, and it is going on two this monday. He did not get permition because his mother was sick. He did call and leave a message with his weekly counseler to call him and he never recieved a call. We had planned on moving for a long time so since he was already in the area I decided to pack up our things and meet him there saving us the trip of having to do it later down the road. We have a feeling that a warrent will be issued for his arrest in California (were was on probation) and we want to take care of all this, but we do not want to have to come back down into California to do so. Will they come get him for a misdamenor? Can they track him by his SS#? What could happen to him? Are we safe to wait a month to get setteled before we contact?
