richmond virginia dui

richmond virginia . . had too much to drink . . not familiar with locale (i'm from va beach - first visit to richmond) . . pulled off highway . . turned car off . . locked doors . . reclined seat . . went to sleep . . woke to officer knocking on window . . admitted to drinking too much . . arrested and charged. va code states "drive or operate vehicle . . ." Any suggestions, advice and/or recommendations for outstanding richmond attorney?

When you admitted to the officer you were drinking,you just busted yourself. Of course "IF" he/she was a DECIENT cop, he/she would have just taken your keys and let you get them in the morning.
