My response:
Instead of spending time in jail, you may be able to qualify for the "Shock Program" and be released on probation. Basically, you are attached to a table, and wires are attached to your head and body as a slightly painful therapy to adjust your criminal tendancies. It requires approximately 10 treatments, with variables of 500 to 2000 volts as your treatments progress. Always bring someone with you to the treatments to drive you home; because you really won't be in any mental condition to drive, and at night, you'll notice a certain "glow" about you; that is, you won't need to turn on any lights at night. Also, you'll make a wonderful nightlight for the kids.

Seriously, it's another term for Juvenile "Boot Camp". It's a proven method for changing otherwise criminal tendancies. It's very difficult - - just like in the Armed forces. But, it's a lot shorter than staying incarcerated.
