I have to drive my elderly mother to the doctor using my vehicle. She doesn't reimburse me for my expenses. She does not qualify as my dependent. She can't drive herself or take public transportation. Can I include transportation costs for taking her to the doctor along with my own medical deductions?

The cost of transportation to a doctor is a medical expense, but you can not deduct the cost of transporting your mother to a doctor unless your mother is your dependent.
