? about out-of-state purchase

my husband's best friend lives in ohio and purchased a new motorcycle about a year ago in missouri. he has had nothing but trouble with this bike...it's been in the shop several times and has cost him hundreds (maybe thousands) of dollars to have it worked on with no results. if this falls under the lemon law, which state's laws would it be covered under...ohio or missouri? thanks.
