Minor left juvenile detention, while on pass. Two weeks later turned 18. If turn self in, do they go back to the juvenile center still? Or will they be charged as an adult? Or will charges be droped? Did one year for criminal tresspassing, and running from center. I really need this answered. Please help.

Not sure what state you are in, but this is my experience in CA. My daughter ran away from the foster home that her probation officer put her in when she was 17. She ran away, stayed out of trouble for almost a year, but was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation 2 months after she turned 18. She was sentenced to 90-120 days which she has to serve in the local juvenile hall since it was a probation violation in juvenile court. She may get an early release if she can get her GED before then. So, depending on where you are located, you will probably still have some type of consequences when they catch you or you turn yourself in.
