What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Idaho

In a nutshell, I buy a car in Wyoming. I contract through a shipping company who finds me a transporter out of Michigan, but coming through this area. The car is picked up in Wyoming, and droped off here in Idaho. The rear window was broken out some time during the trip.

We have talked to the owener on the phone many times and are getting no where. I would like to sue him as the window will be about $800 to replace.

Questions:

1. Small claims, or a bigger court
2. Can i sue him in my counties small claims court being as he was doing business in Idaho, i.e. delivering the car.
3. Any other adivce would be appreciated.

thanks

brian
