Also: Can I file a criminal complaint for someone sending out my personal info?

NY. This happened in late May 2005. My ex-girlfriend with whom I was living with and left, sent my new girlfriend an "annoymous" letter containing my financial information and also my SS#. Can I take any action against her. She wouldn't let me take anything from the Apt. including personal papers so she had to be the only one who could have sent it?
