"now my question is will my name appear in the local paper"
*** That would depend on the publication policy of the newspaper. Some small-town papers post cookie recipes, lost dogs, etc., pretty much anything of local interest to fill a print column. If your paper reports legal filings and or judgments, you might get printed up. If they don't, then clearly they won't.

"and if it will can i stop it from doing so"
*** No. The paper has the right to report accurate facts. And any legal action would be public record anyway.
