My flatmate deposited money onto my account for her and De Facto's Rent to be paid on their behalf, before she travelled overseaes for three months. I have paid their rent. There was domestic violence against me and I have moved out. Now she took me to Small Claim Court, that the money she has deposited was onto my Bank account for a loan to me. There is no written contract, or verbal agreement and I have denied that that was a loan. She uses the deposit slips she put on my account. Nothing else she could prove. I have prove i have paid their Rent. I need a response ASAP, my hearing is on 25 May 2005.
