What is the name of your state? pa
my partner and i split up, he used his bank card (joint checking account) to withdrawal all the money in the account, then used the card to purchase a hotel room and airline ticket. the account is now overdrawn by more than $500. (not to mention the $400 that was mine in the account) is there anything that i can do? the bank say's that i have to bring the account to zero, and that i am responsible for the overdrawn amount. he new how much money was in the account and that there would not be enough to charge a hotel room and plane ticket.

**A: the bank is correct. You need to sue your ex-partner in small claims court.
