What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA

I have a friend who purchased a vehicle from a coworker and the car was salvaged but he never disclosed this information. She knew the car had been in a "minor" accident because there is a dent on the side but he never disclosed that the car was salvaged. She signed the pink slip and then realized before she was going to get it registered that the salvaged box was marked. Is she now liable because she signed the pink slip or can she take him to court for her money back if she returns the car.

Please Advise.

Thank you

The title is notification of the salvaged condition; if you can prove that the $$ changed hands before the title was provided then you have a shot.
