Can I split a loan into two sums ? 2500 and 2500?

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

I looked it up and 2500 dollars is the max amount for small claims unless it has changed. IT seems so much smaller than other states??

I want to take someone to court who owes me 5000 dollars and I want to be able to use small claims court?

How can I best do this?? Or is it even possible.
