Here's the issue I'm considering sueing about:
My Significant Other passed on in April last year and left me with life insurance money. I gave $3.000 to my Significant Other's brother and let him BORROW an additional $2,000 which he AGREED VERBALLY to pay me back. There was no written agreement, although several other members of the family could honestly vouch for me, including my Significant Other's sister and my Significant Other's brother's ex-wife (who knew about the verbal agreement).
Can I sue successfully with just the verbal witnesses of other family member/s?
