:confused:What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
I was served for a small claims case back in January. I filed an answer. I am now receiving a Request for Entry of Default. I received a Note of Case Management Conference. I am a little confused though. Why would the attorney file a Request for Entry of Default (I would assume trying to get a judgement) when we have a court date for mediation? What does this mean? Thank you for all of your help.
