(Arizona) If someone is filing a "civil judgement" on me in Alabama and I am in Arizona? Wouldn't they need to file a "civil suit" in my state in order to obtain a court date, therefore, in order to obtain a "civil judgement"? As of right now I am only being threatened with a "civil judgement" which makes no sense if I haven't been issued a court summons... I think this person is just using "big words" to intimidate me. I guess I just want to know if it would be possible for them to file a "civil suit" if we are in two different states???
