What is the name of your state? California

Does anyone know if, in California, a judgement is wiped out if the person and/or company that owes you declares bankruptcy? I was awarded $850 but am afraid that the crook who runs the company is going to get around his debt with bankruptcy. Thanks for any tips.

Yep. If the debtor includes your judgment in his filing and the court discharges, your judgment goes with it.
