What is the name of your state? ok

i was awarded a judgement against a mechanic in small claims court. however, he doesn't really want to pay me. what can i do, other thatn frame my $1500 judgement?

As you've found out, just getting the judgment doesn't get you paid. There are options:

- Get a writ of garnishment from the court to garnish his wages
- Get an order from the court to levy his bank account
- See a lawyer and send him interrogatories for discovery of assets or haul him into court for a debtor's examination

Did you sue the person or the business ?
If you sued the business, you may be able to go after those assets.

OR,


Hire yourself a judgment enforcement specialist and they'll do it all for you - but it'll cost.
