damage to a car by minor

What is the name of your state? ohio my 4 yr old and a neighbors child were outside playing when a car was hit with a rock.the damage was a 1 1/2 inch dent in hood of car.the bill was $250.00 and 125.00 for 3 day rental.i dont feel i should pay all damages or definitely not 3 day rental.should i let him take me to court and should i request 3 quotes?im not even sure my son did it.

Is the other kid the same age as your son? If yes, unless the guys saw your kid do the damage, he has no case.
