My husband had a website business for a few years, selling tractor implements and parts. During that time, partly because of faulty implements and slow response of the supplier to remedy the situation, he had to satisfy the customers, and paid for the parts. He became indebted to the supplier. For about a year, he sent the payment for the product and all his own profit to this spplier, trying to get this debt paid off, but became frustrated because the supplier kept jumping back and forth on the actual amount that he owed. He sent the supplier proof of what he had paid, but the supplier still would say that he owed more. He stopped that business over a year ago, but they have now passed a judgement on him, and are asking for our deed to our home and our car titles. What should we do?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
