I have sent a demand letter through the postal service and the recipient refuses to accept the letter. How do I proceed with my small claims action?

I have sent a demand letter through the postal service and the recipient refuses to accept the letter. How do I proceed with my small claims action?

Very simply. Go down to your local courthouse and file your lawsuit. If the court asks you for something to show you sent the demand.... simply show them the 'returned unclaimed' letter.
