I received a bill from my dentist 8 month after the procedure was done. There is quite a discrepancy between the dentist's bill and the insurance company's bill. The insurance company clearly stated the reason for claim denial. They requested additional information from the dentist who refuses to supply the necessary documents in order for the claim to be reconsidered.
Since I received the bill 8 Month later i can no longer dispute the claim since according to the insurance company's appeal I have 180 days to dispute.
I am not going to pay for the portion of the bill that the dentist clearly refuses to prove to my insurance company and by their late action they also took away my opprotunity to dispute the claim.
I will be paying for the part of the bill that I know I owe to the dentist.
Can I go to court over this matter?Thank you.
