What is the name of your state? We live in the state of Mississippi. My Mother and Father celebrated there 25th wedding ann. in Jan of 1985, they both exchanged diamond rings. In April 1985 my father passed away.
She had a ring designed the gold was melting down from both rings and all the diamonds put in this setting. Well Oct of 2002 she took the ring to a local jewelry store to have 1 diamond replaced. She was first told they were having trouble locating a diamond. She has been told now thay cannot locate the ring. Now she is just getting the run around, they were checking with other stores, checking safes etc.... For the past 3 weeks no one will return her call. What can and should she do?

*** Why is she getting the run around over locating a diamond??? Take it to another dealer who can purchase more than one stone at a time.
