What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? KY
My son's ex girlfriend has suddenly 'lost' his class ring. He let her wear it while they were dating. Now splitting up, she has a jacket of his and claims she lost the ring. He wants her to return the jacket and pay the $400.00 he paid for the ring. I am in SC, so I don't have any knowledge of KY laws or processes. Should he file a complaint with the Magistrate or Small Claims Court in KY? He is in Henry Co. Thanks.
