I often get several of fax spam a day.

Is there a way to stop this?

Yes! In California you can sue the sender of those faxes for $500 per fax in small claims court...so make sure you save those faxes. Check out this link, it's a local newstation who did a broadcast about that, and also checkout www.junkfax.org this guy tells you how to read the header information to determain who really sent the fax and tells you step by step how to sue the spammers!
