From my understandig criminal and civil court are two different things. A man was oredered to pay me restitution in criminal court and I sued him for the remainder of the amount I loss in civil court. The male payed the restitution, but I didnt recieve it until 45 days later. The problem is...the civil payment was due well before the criminal payment. The civil payment is a default correct? Because I never stated whether or not I was to credit the restitution to the civil case:confused: .
