What is the name of your state? New Mexico
We have an exchange student in our home who was literrally dropped off at our door by a community rep with no notice. The company did not know her whereabouts for two months (I had to contact them) Since then, we have heard from them once and we have refused to sign any paperwork. We would like to file a claim against the company to reimburse us for housing, food, utilities etc. We are also thinking about charging them with child abandonment.
What do you think? Do we have a case? We would like to send them a formal letter itemizing bills etc. They have done nothing for this girl as promised. Do her parents have a case? Thanks
