We took an old tenant to small claims court and won the judgement. We filed a Writ of Execution and then a Writ of Garnishment. The writ of garnishment was served and the paperwork stated that the employer had 20 days to respond by returning the interrogatories or the employer would be responsible to pay for this default. The employer has not done so. The did tell me that the defendant (our ex-tenant) is still currently employed with them so that is not the problem. What do we do to get our money now that the employer has not complied with the law?
