I doctor is taking me to court for unpaided med. bills that my ins. did not pay. I do need to pay the unpaided balance becuase i did use the service . But me and my wife are on a tight budge. I was willing to make payment arrangments with the doctors office and they were unwilling, so now they are taking me to court. I will not fight it becuase i do need to pay it but my question is. Can they take my tax return and or garnish my pay. What i owe is $2900.00.

If they know what they are doing (most laymen don't), yes.

Im not really worry about them garnishing my pay that is fine. Is there neway i can stop them if they do try to take my income tax?

Yep. You can pay the judgment.
